What a weekend!

Saturday was an interesting day with 2″ to 3″ of snowfall, so out came the shovel and the four-wheeler. Caught a good part of the neighborhood sidewalks  and the homes on the north side of the street caught the sunshine and actually dried off the sidewalks by afternoon!

Today has been a different matter. I can’t remember when I have seen so much freezing fog in Great Falls, and central Montana for that matter for such a long period of time. The fog hung around “all” day and a Freezing Fog Advisory is in place until Noon Monday. If we can get the fog to lift we will see plenty of sunshine by Monday afternoon.

High temperatures are still being influenced by cold air from Canada. That won’t last long as this weather moves out of the area.

By mid-week we climb into the 30’s and by Friday the 40’s and sunshine along with it!

Back to the second half of the Super Bowl!
