Not a good day for flying a kite, but warmer!

Hang on to your Kites!

Our strong winds have returned, which in turn has pushed the temperature quickly up into the mid 40’s by early afternoon. Our peak wind gust at KRTV has been 33 mph late this morning. I have noticed a lot of traffic in town for another basketball tournament and a lot of people are holding on to their hats too.

This time of the year we normally have to put up with the wind to get us this warm. Tomorrow looks even better with some gusts near 25 mph and the high near 60 degrees!

We still expect some clouds and showers Saturday with mid 40’s.

Sunday sunny and upper 40’s.

Next week 50’s and low 60’s will be common, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th.
