I hope you remember where the shovel is!

Winter Storm Watch Issued

I hope you remember where you put the shovel the last time you used it. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued with a good chance of seeing some heavy wet spring time snow.

The weekend was pretty quiet for me. I spent a lot of time resting and getting rid of the tail end of the spring cold I had.

We expect rain to change to snow later tonight with little overnight accumulation, but by Tuesday the snow could get with the program. Gust northwest winds will make it that even more uncomfortable. Three to seven inches of snow could fall tomorrow, with some additional snowfall during the evening.

Wednesday is looking better with the snow coming to an end and west winds developing so we warm up into the upper 40’s.

By Thursday sunshine is back and so are the mid 50’s.

If the snow develops as expected remember to take you time when shoveling. This time of the year snow can hold a significant amount of moisture and it takes a lot of work to shovel. Work at it a little at a time so you don’t over exert yourself!
