Gibson Park Pond busy with spring weather!

Gibson Pond with birds and fountains on!

What a beautiful spring day. I happened to have Sunday and Monday off so it’s back to work today! Yesterday was perfect day to sit on the deck, mow the backyard for the first time and also removed the snow plow from the four-wheeler. This must mean no more snow. Actually if it does, the ground is getting warm enough that any snow won’t stick around.

The birds are all happy. Kid’s at recess in shirt-sleeves and you can see the leaves popping out on trees in Gibson Park and other areas of town. Another couple of weeks and we should be sporting full leaves on our trees.

The weather pattern for this week look partly sunny Wednesday with isolated showers, but then another system moves in Thursday with northeast winds and a better chance of rain. The high stays nice, in the mid 60’s.

Friday rain is likely with low 50’s.

The weekend looks pretty much the same with rain and highs in the upper 40’s and low 50’s.

We can use the moisture on the lawns and shrubs and trees. So if you use an umbrella, maybe dig it out and be ready for moisture later in the week.

Have a great day!

Fred
