White Caps on the Missouri!

A strong cold front is expected to cross through the state, and the result will be increasing winds this afternoon and evening. It is warm enough that when the cold air collides with warm air he have right now (in the 60’s), thunderstorms are possible.

I have posted the high wind warning below, which covered a very large area of Montana. High profile vehicles must use caution and wind gusts may be strong enough to down power lines and cause damage to buildings.

Overnight mostly cloudy with some wind gusts near 60 mph with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Our low around 32.

Tuesday mostly cloudy and still windy with a high in the mid 50’s. A chance of rain or snow showers and wind gusts near 50 mph.

Wednesday mostly cloudy and winds become much light but switch to the northwest. High near 40, a good 20 degrees below normal for this time of the year.

Thursday partly cloudy and a high still chilly with low 40’s.

Friday we begin the warming process with a high near 50 and a slight chance of showers with partly sunny skies.

Saturday partly cloudy with a high in lower 50’s.

Sunday mostly cloudy and a high near 50.

Be careful in these strong winds, both walking and driving!
