Meet Rob Quist from the Mission Mountain Wood Band!

Rob Quist from the Mission Mountain Wood Band

Expecting to see mostly cloudy skies for a good part of the day, it was nice to have the sun pop out and dry up the rainfall we saw overnight. Plenty of water on the deck this morning at 7 a.m. But by 9 a.m. we were seeing rays of sunshine and temperatures in the 60’s. Some wind gusts from the southwest near 30 mph pushed the clouds away at least for the time being.

We are still expecting the rest of the week to be mostly cloudy and showers, extending into the weekend. Cooler temperatures as well as we drop into the 50’s for the weekend.

I didn’t hear too much complaining about the rain but some were not real happy with the gusty winds. We have been spoiled with out recent beautiful weather.

This change in our weather pattern is all part of a system moving eastward across the Pacific Northwest, so we should expect spring showers!

Good news for those who may have missed the 30 minute interview I had this past Sunday on Face the State. It was Rob Quist talking about the reunion of the Mission Mountain Wood Band. They will be in Great Falls to benefit the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Association with an outdoor concert, Friday, June 25th. The concert is a part of the annual Lewis and Clark Festival. The program is now on our website in case you missed it and want to see it. Rob is a childhood friend from Cut Bank where we both grew up as youngsters.

Have a great day!
