If you thought May seemed cold, you were right!

The National Weather Service has compiled information from May and if you thought it was a cold month, it certainly was! Records show Great Falls averaged 47.5 degrees (combining day and night) and was the second coldest May on record. A normal May would be 51.5 degrees, so quite a difference!

Lewistown was in the same boat. The second coldest May on record with 44.9 degrees average and normal is 50.1 degrees.
