Can’t we keep the clouds away for one more day?

Clouds building over the Missouri at Mid-Day!

We have seen our share of sunshine today and pleasant temperatures, but looking ahead it looks like clouds will be more common for us beginning tomorrow. I was hoping to see less clouds building up so soon. However radar is picking up no strong echos, show it’s more for show. It does make for good pictures!

This afternoon we can expect mostly sunny skies with some west winds up to 20 mph. Our high in the low 70’s, so right on target in that department.

Overnight partly cloudy with winds shifting more to the northwest and a low in the mid 40’s.

Wednesday mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. High in the upper 60’s.

Thursday a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms again. High in the low 60’s.

Friday mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers, good moisture for the flowers, with a high near 60.

The weekend looks mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and temperatures returning to the mid and upper 60’s.

I hope you enjoy the sunshine today as our weather pattern shifts more to a damp week! I’ll have more at 5:30!

Wednesday      69/47 (40%) (30%)
