Watch out for the big puddles of water!

Today was a car wash owner’s wish, water running in the streets and making Great Falls vehicles even more mud caked and dirty!

Don’t get too used to the short warm streak! We have another cold front crossing the state this weekend, bringing snow and much colder temperatures by Sunday. Some lows will be dropping below zero so the wet streets and slush will turn back to ice again, keeping the city and county sanding trucks and plows busy.

Winter is less than 3 weeks away and still no end in sight to our winter-like conditions. Some parts of the country are dealing with high water and severe weather, while we continue to see more snow pile up and temperatures remain well below 40 degrees, which is where we belong this time of the year.

This is the last weekend on Standard time for us as well, as Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 am Sunday, March 13th.

Just for the record, spring officially begins at 5:21 pm on March 20th!

Have a great day!
