Watch for small stream flooding!

For those visiting Great Falls for basketball tournament time, the weather couldn’t have come at a better time.  Many have told me how lucky we are that we don’t have the amount of snow on the ground that they do. The northern part of the state back to North Dakota has been slapped hard with snow, as well as areas to the south of us. If you have photos of plenty of snow in your area send them via e-mail to fred@krtv.com  You may see your photographs on my blog!

Be on the lookout for small stream flooding in Teton and Pondera counties over the weekend as the snow is melting quickly.

On the way to work today I stopped at the Four Seasons and it is interesting to watch the buses come and go from all parts of the state. We are happy to have you in Great Falls and hope you enjoy your stay!

Buses wait for the players to finish their games

Our weekend looks very nice with melting continuing thanks to the warm Chinook winds. It is finally so nice to see the stubborn ice melting down off the residential streets!

I hope you have good enough weather to get out and enjoy the fresh air. Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 am Sunday so be sure and set your clocks AHEAD 1 hour before going to bed Saturday night, so you will wake up and be on the right time!
