Gusty winds but another weather system heads our way!

Mountain snow is possible the next day or so, but another cold weather system looks to be gathering strength for later in the week. In the near term here is what we are looking at for higher elevations, while we enjoy gusty winds and warmer temperatures.

The National Weather Service has issued a Jan-March weather summary for areas in Montana. You can find that link by clicking on this sentence.

The other concern is a developing system later this week and the this statement from the National Weather Service is keeping us looking into the future!

Have a great day!

Fred

ANOTHER DEVELOPING PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE AREA
FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY. HOWEVER, DETAILS ON
PRECIPITATION TYPE, AMOUNTS AND LOCATION ARE STILL VERY UNCERTAIN AT
THIS TIME. AT THIS TIME TEMPERATURES ARE FORECASTED TO BE COLD
ENOUGH FOR SNOW WITH HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE, HOWEVER EVEN A SLIGHT
VARIATION IN TEMPERATURE AND POSITION OF THE LOW COULD BE THE
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RAIN, SNOW, OR A RAIN/SNOW MIX IN THE VALLEYS.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR FORECASTS CLOSELY AND WE WILL PROVIDE UPDATES AS
MORE INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE.
