A cold front went through Montana overnight. Skies cleared allowing sunshine for our area. Showers are being reported in parts of Montana and Wyoming.
A stronger disturbance will move into western Montana Wednesday and across the rest of the state overnight and Thursday. This system will produce some rain and snow showers, with possible snow accumulation in eastern Montana.
Overnight we expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 30.
Wednesday partly sunny with a high in the mid 50’s, warm enough to generate some potential thunderstorms and rain showers. Those showers could easily turn to snow by evening under 3,600′ with an inch or two of snowfall possible. Low near 34.
Thursday mostly sunny and gusty winds return with a high in the mid 40’s. Some isolated morning showers are possible.
Friday partly sunny with a slight chance of rain showers and snow showers above 3,700 feetl. High near 50.
Saturday partly sunny with a slim chance of rain showers and a high in the low 50’s.
Sunday and Monday both look partly sunny with a few showers and warmer with a high in the mid 50’s.
