Another beautiful day in Montana, dandelions and all!

All the signs of spring are finally here. Blue skies, an occasional threat of thunderstorms and pesky dandelions are out in all their glory.

With the record amounts of snowfall and then heavy rain less than a week ago the water must go somewhere, and melting it is and many streams, creeks and rivers are overflowing their banks. If you plan to be outdoors in the next few weeks please beware of rising water.

Our temperatures are not record-breaking and that is good because of the amount of snow that is yet to melt in the mountains. The 60’s and 70’s are plenty warm enough and with the lack of winds it certainly is making for enjoyable weather to be outdoors, attacking dandelions or whatever chores need to be done at this time of the year!

If you plan on being near streams, creeks and rivers be aware of rising water and the danger of being trapped by fast rising creeks. If you see water over roads, turn around, don’t drown!

Have a great day!

Fred
