More unstable for the next two days. Severe weather possible.

Very warm temperatures in the mid 80’s to low 90’s today and Wednesday. The heat could cause a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight. A cold front arrives in Western Montana Wednesday which will start the cool down process west of the divide. Showers and thunderstorms are likely ahead of the cold front and spread eastward.

A dramatic and rapid warming in temperatures through mid week is expected with highs in the 90s possible today and definitely by Wednesday and a few 100s possible along the Yellowstone Valley. This may cause unexpected heat stress to both people and animals which have been used to a very mild summer thus far.

Overnight a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The potential exists that some may become severe with hail and gusty winds. Low temperature in the upper 50’s.

Wednesday a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, some could become severe during the afternoon and early evening hours. High in the mid 80’s.

Thursday mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High near 70.

Friday sunny with a high climbing into the mid 70’s.

Saturday sunny with a high near 80.

Sunday continues mostly sunny with a high in the low 80’s.

Monday, Independence Day, mostly sunny with a high in the mid 80’s.

I hope you have a pleasant afternoon and evening! Beware of high water.
