A change Friday to cooler weather!

Enjoying the calm before the storm! A cold front will move from the west to east overnight ahead of another Pacific weather system. This may create a few showers and thunderstorms in Montana, mainly after midnight tonight.

NWS Weather Story

The front will move through the area during the morning tomorrow, but because the front will arrive during the morning, there will be a better chance that any showers and thunderstorms will not reach the severe category. That is not true for parts of the state however, as the best bet for stronger showers and thunderstorms will be south and east of a line from Havre to Dillon. Any showers or thunderstorms should decrease during the evening hours tomorrow.

In the Great Falls area overnight we can expect mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight with a low in the lower 50’s.

Friday partly sunny with a 50% chance of showers and some thunderstorms. High near 75 and some gusty west winds near 25 mph.

Saturday back to sunny and warmer with a high in the upper 70’s.

Sunday even warmer, with sunshine and a high in the mid 80’s.

Monday back to hot weather with low 90’s expected, and a slight chance or showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday some heat relief with mostly sunny skies and we drop back into the low 80’s.

Wednesday mostly sunny and some scattered showers and thunderstorms. High in the upper 70’s.

I hope you have a great evening!
