Another cold front kicks up thunderstorms

A cold front is moving across the area today and will produce some scattered thunderstorms. Ahead of the front some areas will see highs in the 90’s. Tuesday will be cooler and dry behind the cold front. A red flag warning due to dry conditions and expected erratic winds has been extended until 9 pm tonight.

Overnight a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms until midnight. The possibility exists for gusty winds and small hail. Low around 50 degrees.

Tuesday plenty of sunshine and mild with a high in the upper 70’s.

Wednesday sunny and warm with highs in the mid 80’s.

Thursday and Friday both look sunny and dry with highs in the lower 80’s.

The weekend outlook is sunny and mid both Saturday and Sunday with high near 85.
