It’s Halloween and then we can expect winter-like weather later this week!

October 31, 2011

It is remaining mild but windy for the Trick Or Treaters, the timing is good however as two cold front move through Montana this week making it feel more winter-like with possible snow.

Be prepared for high temperatures in the mid to low 30’s and overnight lows in the teens with some single digits. The time has come to start digging out the winter coats and boots!

Have a great day!

It’s good to be back and deliver warmer weather!

October 26, 2011

Although today was chilly with a low of 24, it ended up being 47 for a high, just a few degrees below normal. Our peak wind gust was 35 mph and that made it feel a little brisk as well!

Colder air sticks around Thursday but the good part is the wind should be less intense and a great mix of sunshine as well.

By Friday highs jump into the mid 50’s thanks to some returning gusty winds.

It’s great to be back at work and thank you so much for the e-mails, letters, and calls while I was out for several weeks!

Enjoy this Sunday as the weather is changing!

October 23, 2011

A strong cold front is bearing down on Montana. Gusty winds ahead of the front much like Saturday, which is keeping temperatures in the 50’s and some 60’s.

A big drop is headed our way as highs dip into the 40’s and lows in the 20’s. A good chance of mountain snow and a mix of rain and snow for the lower elevations. Not a lot of snow is expected for the plains but enough to make for some slushy driving Monday night and Tuesday.

Slow down and drive safe!

It’s back to work today! Windy but mild

October 22, 2011

It’s back to work after being off for weeks. I am feeling good and look forward to an appearance during the half-time of the Griz game and then again at 10pm.

The wind is gusting up to 35 mph this afternoon and that is certainly blowing our changing leaves around!

Great to be back!
